Today my mom and I sorted out the crafts-room of my dad, who died 15 years ago when I was an infant. My mom hadn’t been able to do it all these years, so I was worried if she could handle to go through his memories. Suddenly, she burst into laughter with a box labeled ‘tools’ in her hands – filled with old cigarettes and five old Penthouse’s.

“Em algum natal, minha irmã ganhou o VHS da “Bela e a Fera” de papai noel e passamos as férias inteiras infernizando minha avó com músicas e repetições ininterruptas do filme (todo ano, eu, minha irmã e nossos cinco primos éramos deportados para a casa da avó nas férias e esse é um dos motivos pelos quais eu sei trabalhar em equipe. Not).

Em dado momento, minha avó surtou, arrancou a fita do vídeo cassete e nos mandou alugar alguma coisa, – qualquer coisa – na locadora. Alugamos “A Bela e a Fera”:”

do you know what was both great and terrible?

this one time, me and whitepajamas were like, “hey!  let’s order pizza and brownies and hang out watching a movie!” because uni was getting us down, and we just wanted to chill.  

so we ordered the pizza and the brownies, and then waited around for them to arrive, and then we paid the dude, and went back up to whitepajamas’ room, and were SO PSYCHED for our awesome fun movie night!

unfortunately, we had chosen “there will be blood” as our awesome fun movie, and then we spent the next one hundred and fifty eight minutes eating pizza and doing this:
